Heimdall is sold worldwide by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited. Paddle handles billing, VAT, and refund processing on our behalf. Refund requests filed via Paddle are honoured under the same terms described below.
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you're not satisfied within the first 14 days of your first paid subscription period (Creator, Pro or Agency, monthly or annual), we'll refund your purchase in full — no questions asked, no need to justify.
The 14-day window is measured from the date your first paid subscription is charged. It applies once per customer; subsequent renewals are governed by §3 below.
2. EU statutory right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
Consumers in the EU have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under §§ 312g, 355 BGB. Because Heimdall is a digital service that begins immediately on signup, this right expires once the service has been performed in full with your explicit prior consent (§ 356 V BGB). See our AGB §6 for the full wording.
Practically: if you signed up but have not yet used the product, you can withdraw at any time within 14 days and receive a full refund. The 14-day money-back guarantee in §1 above is more generous than this statutory minimum.
3. Cancellation of recurring subscriptions
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Dashboard → Billing or by writing to [email protected]. A one-click cancellation button is provided in accordance with § 312k BGB (German consumer protection).
Effect of cancellation. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You retain access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund the unused portion of an in-progress monthly period.
Annual plans. For annual subscriptions, we offer a pro-rated refund of unused full calendar months if you cancel within the first 60 days. After 60 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable for the current term.
4. Refunds for service issues
If Heimdall has a substantial outage (more than 24 consecutive hours of unavailability not caused by upstream platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), or a defect that prevents the core feature you paid for from working, contact us — we will refund or credit the affected period.
AI-generated content is provided "as is" (see AGB §10). Output quality, virality of suggestions, or audience reaction are not grounds for refund.
5. How to request a refund
You have two equally valid paths:
- Via Paddle — find your purchase email from
@paddle.comand click "View receipt". Paddle's self-service form processes refunds within 3–5 business days back to your original payment method. - Directly with us — email [email protected] from the address tied to your account, with your order ID (visible in your billing dashboard). We respond within 2 business days. Refunds appear on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — most issues are resolved within a day. Filing a chargeback before reaching out can result in your account being suspended pending resolution, since chargebacks incur fees and a dispute investigation from Paddle.
7. Taxes
VAT, GST and equivalent sales taxes are collected and remitted by Paddle. When a refund is issued, the corresponding tax is refunded automatically alongside the principal.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect. The version in force at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
